From apprenticeship to baking in a small home kitchen in Richmond, The Cake Workshop has grown into a respectable and quality cake shop. All began in 1960s.

1970s,

Angus began his apprenticeship at Maria’s Bakery on Prince Edward Road, Hong Kong; mastering the pastry crafts. Soon Angus became one of Maria’s Executive Pastry Chef, and helped establish Maria’s Bakery Empire.

1990s,

Angus immigrates to Canada to begin a new chapter of pastry journey. Angus managed the pastry department for various respectable bakeries.

2000s,

Desire to combine passion for pastry, creativity, and quality - The Cake Workshop from a home kitchen. 

2014,

TheCake Workshop opened its retail.
